Hemolysis thresholds are customizable based on lab- or manufacturer-specific cutoffs for measurement interference.

VitalQC calculates the probability that a blood sample’s hemolysis index will exceed analyte-specific threshold values that can be modified based on laboratory protocols to determine the source or main contributors of sample rejection.
